October kicks off my favorite season to run, rainy, cool, mid-50’s with a lot to see in the wilderness. This year however I spent the last 8 months transformed into a Gnarlabar, packed on weight from eating acorns from the loamy forest floor and catching Salmon in my steel grip jaws – at least I suppose that’s what happened. *Maybe I just ate garbage and got fat.
Anyway, this is the come back workout for this week! Each week will, with any luck, progress.
- 30 minute of spin bike with Zwift app
- 30 minute elliptical
- 25 situps
- Monday / Wednesday/ Friday — weights with Hasfit Youtube Channel
Because of the arthritis (I guess I climbed trees as a Gnarlabar, gosh that’s all fuzzy), my ankles are a little toast and I hope to get them strengthened enough for runs soon of the 3-6 mile nature, wish it could be longer – who knows maybe the ankles will hold up fabulously. I will be going to a rheumatologist as soon as they get a strong cage built.
Until I can run I will be walking strange distances randomly and often. Saving up for a bicycle – stay tuned for that.
